How did Aspires start?

Aspires Day Care Centre was first set up by Jackie Murphy in 1996. She was approached by a social worker who was keen to see more sheltered work experience in West Norfolk. The Day Care Centre was originally set up in rural premises in Fincham, but in October 2024, we relocated to King’s Lynn to be more accessible.

Over the years Aspires Day Care Centre has evolved to what we are today.

But through all the changes, we still remain true to what Jackie first started, which is to give others the opportunity to feel valued, respected, make friends, Life Skills, promoting independence and gaining work experience.

We also have supported in the past and still continue to this day, to welcome apprenticeships to our Day Centre.

Aspires gives our service members the opportunity to develop skills, follow instructions and work on live contracts, in a safe and welcoming environment.

Few Ongoing Contracts

We have been working with Guy Raymond in King’s Lynn for several years now, supporting them in their production of castor wheels. These are used for a variety of domestic and commercial furniture items

.

Petra Boase is an online stationery, gift and haberdashery store based in Norwich, Norfolk.

We have been collaborating with this successful company for several years. Their work is sold across the UK and worldwide, and is unique to them, with their own branding and designs.

We support them by completing various tasks involved in the production of their works.

Can we support your business?
